This year’s second annual Rock the Block will happen on Wednesday, September 27 from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m..
Rock the Block is made possible by the $70,000 grant from Lowes supporting the Laurel neighborhood revitalization initiative that also includes home rehabilitation, financial empowerment workshops, and community clean-up days.
Construction volunteer activities will be focused within a one mile radius around Laurel’s Old Town neighborhoods, with participants from 30 Lowes Heroes from the local Lowe’s stores on this day. Will you volunteer to work in your community?
Gatherings will take place at Oak Street Parking Lot.
