The Laurel Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Laurel’s draft comprehensive plan beginning at 7 p.n. Wednesday, August 9. The hearing will be held on the second floor of Town Hall.
The town Mayor and Council, commission members, and state agencies have made comments on the plan, which is a 10-year growth strategy for Laurel. The original draft is available here.
After reviewing changes, asking questions and hearing from the public, the commission is expected to vote on whether to recommend adoption of the plan by the Mayor and Council.
